HOW CAN I OBTAIN A QBAI®CERTIFICATION?
The certification of competences provided by QBAI® can be obtained by registering for the test sessions published on the official website.
IS THE ATTNDANCE TO THE COURSES MANDATORY IN ORDER TO OBTAIN A QBAI® CERTIFICATION?
No, it is possible to obtain any QBAI® certification by taking the test without attending the course. Obviously, the participation to the course is encouraged.
DO I NEED TO BE A QBAI® MEMBER IN ORDER TO APPLY FOR A CERTIFICATION?
No, being a QBAI® member is not necessary to apply for a certification. However, joining QBAI® offers many advantages. These include, for example, discounted certification test fees, discounted fees for retaking the test, access to teaching materials, and much more. HOW CAN I REGISTER FOR A TEST?
In order to register for a test, it is necessary to send an email to certificazioni@qbai.org attaching the test registration form, your CV, and a copy of the bank transfer receipt of the paid fee. For more details, please visit the dedicated page.
HOW LONG AFTER THE TRAINING COURSE IS ENDED CAN I TAKE THE TEST?
At the end of the training course, it is immediately possible to take the QBAI® certification test. It is also possible to take the test later on after the course (but not later than one year after the conclusion of the training course) if the participant needs to deepen specific topics covered in the training course.
WHERE AND WHEN CAN I TAKE THE TEST?
QBAI® tests are held either in a classroom or online. The place and date of the test is announced on the Calendar’s page of QBAI®’s website.
IF I DO NOT PASS THE TEST, WILL I NEED TO PARTECIPATE AGAIN TO THE COURSE IN ORDER TO ATTEMPT THE SAME TEST ONE MORE TIME?
Participation to QBAI®’s training courses is never compulsory. Clearly, it can be particularly useful to attend an accredited course before taking a test that has not been passed in a previous attempt.
IF I DO NOT PASS THE TEST, WILL I HAVE TO PAY THE FEE AGAIN IN ORDER TO ATTEMPT IT A SECOND TIME?
No, the test fee allows to take the same test for a maximum of two times. In case a candidate fails to pass the test twice, he/she will be able to take the test once again after paying the fee again.
HOW IS THE TEST RESULT COMMUNICATED?
The communication of passing or failing the test is sent by e-mail with an indication of the achieved score. If the test is passed, the certificate is sent in electronic format.

What are the requirements to access QBAI®certifications?
In order to access QBAI®’s certifications, it is necessary to meet some requirements defined by QBAI® Association. Such requirements are specific for each level of certification and can be summarized as follows:
FUNDAMENTAL OF BUSINESS ANALYST
Achieved a Bachelor’s degree in science / economics / humanistic studies or work experience of at least six months in the IT Sector
ADVANCED BUSINESS ANALYST
Obtained QBAI® Fundamental of Business Analysis certification. It is also necessary to have a work experience greater than / equal to 3 years, in the same area of application as the chosen module.
MASTER BUSINESS ANALYST MANAGEMENT
Obtained QBAI® Advanced Business Analyst certification. It is also necessary to have a work experience greater than / equal to 5 year
Do QBAI® certificates have an expiration date?
Do QBAI® certificates have an expiration date?
QBAI® Fundamental and Advanced certifications are not subject to expiration. QBAI® Master certification, on the other hand, needs to be renewed every five years.

QBAI® Fundamental of Business Analysis course is a module that focuses on the concepts, the strategic value, and the role within the organizations of the Business Analysis.
